Baby in Fla is a Full African American baby BOY due Nov 13th.

Expectant mom is 23 yrs old, 5”6, black hair, brown eyes, average build. She is parenting a 2 yrs old little boy.

She is receiving prenatal care and is currently on bed rest for contractions. They have been stopped but she must remain on bed rest for several more weeks. She was considered a high risk with her first child as well and he was born with no medical concerns. She denies the use of alcohol, drugs and smoking with this pregnancy.

The expectant father is aware of the pregnancy and of the adoption plan. The attorney has sent him the Notice of the Intended Adoption Plan, he will have 30 days to respond. After which his consent will not be required to terminate his parental rights.

He is the father of her 2 yr old child. They do communicate but he only provides limited financial support for the 2 yr old child. The expectant mom is looking for a traditional married family, with or without other children. She is open to all religions. She would like the family to support a semi-open adoption plan with pictures and letters following placement.

A Child's Waiting is working with a birth mother who is due 11/23/07 with a bi-racial baby of an unknown gender. Birth mother has been receiving pre-natal care since her fourth month of pregnancy and is currently on Medicaid. Birth mother reports that she has had a healthy pregnancy and has used caffeine and cigarettes during her pregnancy. Heroin use has been reported to the agency by a family member but not by the birth mother. Birth mother also reports currently taking Lexipro for depression. Birth mother states that she does have seizures sometimes due to her blood pressure going too low. Birth mothers family health history contains diabetes, lung cancer and Alzheimer's disease. Birth mother is looking for a family with diversity and is looking to receive at least letters and pictures but would do visits if the adoptive family is open to that. We are networking for a birth mom due 10/14 in Ca.

The baby will be Pacific Islander & Hispanic. The baby is a girl per the ultrasound. The birth mom has placed before with this licensed agency. She has had prenatal care since 5 months pregnant. She has indicated no drugs, alcohol or smoking during. No significant health history concerns. No mental illness or psychiatric counseling/treatment with the family. The adoption will be closed and the agency will be choosing.

The agency fees will be approx. $30,000. The ap's that adopted the first baby do not want another child, but would like the ap for this baby to consider staying in touch with them.

Mom consented today to the adoption of a biracial baby boy who is now in our care. Working on Dad's paperwork but he is cooperative.

Baby was born 10/30/06 so is 11 months old. Healthy, developmentally on-target. Semi-open adoption. Agency fee $15,000 plus mom's expenses of $3,000 plus legals.

Would like a family ready with current homestudy and clearances and to travel this weekend to VA. ICPC will probably take the standard 7-10 business days.

Birth mother has been receiving pre-natal care since her second month of pregnancy and has not used drugs, alcohol or cigarettes during her pregnancy. Birth mother is 38 years old and has four other children who birth mother reports have no health concerns. Birth mother reports no major illnesses or mental health issues. Cancer and high blood pressure is in her family history.

Birth mother is open to looking at families from all types of family dynamics and is hoping to receive letters and pictures.
