African American baby GIRL due Feb 20th in ARK
Expectant mom is 18 yrs old, African American, brown eyes and black hair. This pregnancy is the result of a rape. This is her first pregnancy. She is in school full-time and does not feel she can parent this child under the circumstances of the pregnancy. She is covered under Medicaid and is taking prenatal vitamins. She denies any use of illegal drugs, alcohol, or tobacco with this pregnancy. There are no mental or medical family concerns.
There is no information with regards to the expectant father other than the attacker was of African American heritage. The attorney will terminate parental rights accordingly.
The expectant mom would like a loving, supportive family. That family can be a Single Professional Parent or a Married Traditional family. Other children are OK. She will consider all religions. She is unsure at this time if she wants a semi-open with pictures and letters thru the agency or if she wants a closed adoption. Adoptive family should be comfortable with either. She has asked the agency to select the adoptive family. The fees for this opportunity are $20,300 for everything but travel to ARK.

Caucasian/Hispanic baby Gender Unknown due March 5th in Florida
Expectant mom Puerto Rican (Hispanic), 27 yrs old, brown eyes, brown hair and olive complexion. The expectant mom has the support of her family in this adoption plan. This is her 6th pregnancy. She is currently in jail for selling drugs but she notes she does not take drugs and does not have a drug abuse history – only sells. She is scheduled to be released from jail in November 2008. She is not parenting any of her children at this time and does not feel she has the ability to parent this child either. She is receiving prenatal while in jail and once released she will continue her prenatal visits. She will need to wait until she is released to apply for Medicaid but is expected to receive coverage. She notes that she is taking prenatal vitamins. The expectant mom denies the use of alcohol, illegal drugs or tobacco with this pregnancy. She notes her oldest child does have epilepsy and she has Post Traumatic Stress Disorder and anxiety. There are no other mental health concerns.
Expectant father is Caucasian, 21 yrs old, blue eyes, blond hair and stocky build. He is aware of the pregnancy and the adoption plan. He is the father of 3 of her other children. He is not parenting any of those children and does not have any interest in parenting this child. He is supportive of the adoption plan and will sign consents.
The expectant mom is open to a Single Professional Parent or a Married Traditional family, with or without other children. She is open to all religions. She would like the family to support a semi-open adoption plan with pictures and letters following placement thru the agency. Fees associated with this opportunity are $38,500 for everything but travel to Florida.

African American baby GIRL due Jan 22nd in NC
Expectant mom is 25 yrs old, African American, brown eyes and black hair. This is her 2nd pregnancy – she is parenting a 1 yr old boy and is not prepared to parent another child so soon. She is living with family and they support her adoption plan. The expectant mom is covered under Medicaid and is receiving prenatal care. She denies the use of drugs, alcohol or smoking with this pregnancy. She did have some preeclampsia concerns with her last pregnancy and did deliver her son at 34 weeks – he was fine, with no medical concerns. There are no medical concerns.
The expectant father is known. He is described as African American, brown eyes, black hair. He left as soon as he found out she was pregnant. He is believed to be living in another state. The attorney will terminate accordingly.
The expectant mom would like a stable, loving, secure family – a single parent or a married traditional family, with or without other children. She would like the family to be of the Christian faith. She would like the family to support a semi-open adoption plan after placement with pictures and letters thru the agency. The fees associated with this opportunity are $22,800 for everything but finalization and travel.

Angel Adoptions in Houston, Texas has TWO new situations! The first is a baby boy due late October. This baby is full AA, no drug or alcohol exposure, and good prenatal care. Birthmother is healthy, sweet and parenting other children. She would like a family of any race who is Christian, married/heterosexual, with no other children preferred. Agency cannot select families from NJ, NY, RI, MI or CT. No physical punishment can be used and this must be documented in your homestudy. We cannot work with couples who have more than one previous marriage, smoke, have more than two previous children, or have any history of arrests. This fee is $25K and includes all expenses except your finalization/supervision in your home state. At least one parent will need to travel to Texas and stay for a minimum of 7 working days (excluding weekends)
for ICPC approval. The next situation is an -already born- newborn baby girl. This baby is full Caucasian, and was exposed to cocaine during the pregnancy. Birthmother wants a traditional married couple of any race, with no more than one prior child (or none). We cannot work with families from NJ, NY, RI, MI or CT or outside the U.S. We will not approve families who have a history of more than one marriage, smoke, have more than two previous children, or have any history of arrests. At least one parent will need to travel to Texas and stay for a minimum of 7 working days (excluding weekends) from the day the baby is placed with them for ICPC approval. We do not approve any family who uses physical punishment and this must be

African American baby BOY was born Sept 1st in Texas weighing in at 6lb 8 oz, 18 inches long. He has been placed in the care of a Cradle Care provider until an adoptive family is found for him.
The birth mom is 21 yrs old, African American, brown hair and brown eyes. She has a 2 yr old daughter that lives with her father (child’s father) and does not feel she has the support financially to parent a child at this time in her life. She did not receive prenatal care prior to the baby being born. She notes she did smoke about 5 cigarettes per day, she did not drink any alcohol or do illegal drugs during her pregnancy.
The expectant father is African American (from Honduras), 27 yrs old, brown hair and brown eyes. They are no longer in a relationship. He was aware of the pregnancy and had no comment with regards to the pregnancy or the adoption plan. He was not around once he found out she was pregnant and did not provide any emotional or financial support during the pregnancy.
The birth mom would like a Single professional Lady or a Married Traditional family with or without other children. She would like the family to support a more OPEN adoption plan with pictures and letters with an occasional phone call the first 2-3 years, then a possible visit once a year after the age of 2-3 at an agreed upon, mutual place. The fees for this opportunity are $$18,650 for everything but finalization and travel. The expectant mom would like to view profiles on Monday Sept 15th.
