Birth Mother (age 17) due with a Caucasian baby boy due 12/12/07. Baby has been diagnosed with Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome. Birth Mother is being induced on 12/6/07. She is hoping to match with a two parent family with no children. The family must be homestudy ready and cannot live in Ohio. The birth family will require minimal living expenses. The birth family is hoping to be matched with an adoptive family who will be willing to keep the birth name of Jaxon Taylor. TWINS BOY & GIRL PREEMIES 2 WEEKS OLD-WISCONSIN Birthmom is Caucasian, and Birthfather is Puerto Rican and African American Birthmom states she is Drug and Alcohol Free and No mental illness. Birthfather is known and supportive of the adoption plan. According to the Hospital the Babies are healthy and were born Drug & Alcohol Free. Baby A is a Boy that had Apgars of 8 & 10 weight 2lbs 16oz and is 15inches long. Baby B is a girl that had apgars of 5 & 8 weight 2lbs 14oz and 16 inches long. The Hospital is aware that there is an adoption plan in place. Agency has medicals on both baby's. Wisconsin has a 30 Cradle Care Program. These babies most remain in the state of WI for 30 days. Babies are still in the hospital and will be for a couple more weeks. Babies were born at 29 weeks and 3 days. Hospital reports both babies are now breathing on there own. A Child's Waiting is working with a BM due 1/10/2007 with a biracial girl she has 5 other children all in the care of the county or relatives. She was an honor student in Highschool. She also participated in basketball and cheerleading. She enjoys writing. She comes from a religious background. Her father is a minister. She's made some poor choices and ended up losing her children and that increased her drug use. She is currently incarcerated on a drug charge. She's been there since the 1st month. The Judge sentenced her to jail time so she would have to stay clean during the pregnancy. She is set for release to a rehab center for 28 days next week. She will hopefully remain there until delivery. She is sharing she is wanting to use this opportunity to stay clean and get away from the drugs. She started prenatal care in the 2nd month. She reports using crack 2x's a week in her 1st month only. She does report smoking 1 pk of cigarettes every 3 days. She has a history of preterm labor. This is due to an incompetent cervix. This condition is due to a prolapsed uterus. She will most likely not make it to her due date. She is also Hep C positive. She was diagnosed 2 years ago and her last baby, born 2 years ago was not hep c and she's hoping this one isn't either. She has been diagnosed with BiPolar, PTSD and takes Wellbuterin and Geodone for it. She is under close supervision and takes Vistidol to sleep at night. She has a history of cutting as a teen. She has scars on her arms that are very visible. She reports her mother is an alcoholic. Her grandmother had a history of mental illness as well. She had some other family history of breast cancer, asthma, excema, and arthritis. The BF is aware of her pregnancy. He has not offered her any support. He is about 6'6 and is AA. She describes him as handsome and very intelligent. She reports he makes bad choices as well. She is looking for a religious family who participates in church on a regular basis. She would like letter and pictures. She was hoping the family would agree to 1 visit a year. She has an open adoption with her 4,3, and 1 year olds family and feels they would do letters and pictures with the new family as well. The fees will be $15-$17000. That will include $2500-$3000 in living assistance. That will be provided upon release from the rehab facility. She will be homeless and need set up in an apartment.
