Caucasian/Hispanic or Caucasian/African American baby BOY due beginning of Jan in NV. Expectant mom is Caucasian, this is her 4th pregnancy, she has placed before and is not parenting any of her children. She admits to some Meth and alcohol use the first 4 months of pregnancy. Clean since August. Expectant father is unknown – believed to be Hispanic or African American. Expectant mom would like Married Traditional family, other children are fine. CC/AA baby due 12/09 Valley of Hope Adoption is sending profiles to a birth mother today expecting a Caucasian/African American baby mid-December in AL. Gender is unknown. She prefers a Christian non-Catholic family. She would like pictures and updates through the agency and wants the family to support the child in reunion efforts when he/she is grown. Her family is supportive of her adoption plans. She has been taking college classes. No drugs, alcohol or smoking and is receiving prenatal care. Birth father is not involved. Fees will be $29,800 and include placement, living expenses and secondary agency fee in AL. $7,000 is due at match, secondary agency fees will be due shortly, and final remainder fees are due at placement. Morning Star Adoption Center is a Michigan licensed agency seeking a family for an African American/Caucasian child due 06/12/09 (gender unknown). Birth mother is Caucasian/African American. This will be her second placement through this agency and she is very committed to making an adoption plan for this child. She is 21 years old. This is her 4th healthy child; two are with her, one was placed for adoption. The birth father is African American, 21 years old, and unable to parent. It is uncertain if he will do nothing or sign off, but either way we can proceed to termination of his parental rights. No significant health issues for either parent are known. Birth mother drank some wine coolers and tested positive for marijuana. She states she tested positive due to the high use by her roommate, but that she did not use. She stopped the alcohol as soon as she knew she was pregnant, which was in her first trimester. She does not smoke cigarettes or use illegal drugs. BM will need living expense assistance (approx. $1000 per month), which is lawful in Michigan. Total adoption costs are expected to be approximately $17,500, not including the home study, 2 supervision visits and travel. It is likely BM will want to meet to match. BM is seeking a Christian married couple that is "financially stable and has good parenting skills". She will consider any race. She will NOT consider single parents or same gender couples.
